Young children are 100%
dependant on adults to educate them and help them
develop the skills and knowledge that will take
them through an entire lifetime. As parents, we
must take responsibility for our children and
give them every opportunity we can. |
| Children can grow up with
loads of attitude and we all hope it is not A BAD
ATTITUDE. The stimulus they encounter on
television, on the radio and through interactons
with adults can be meaningful or destructive. We
hope that ClassRoomBuzz will help parents guide
their children into the right direction. We know that education is at the
root of ending poverty predjudice and crime. By
educating your child you can insure their future
as well as empowering change in society.
If you want to change
the future, start by shaping the people that will
be running it.

Teach your children about
computers without getting angry! One of
the most frustrating topics for adults is the
internet and technology. How do you show children
when you can't understand it yourself?
We have tried
to keep this website simple and easy to use, so
the unthinkable does not happen.
What you need
to remember is that your children will also face
new challenges when they grow up as technology
excels into the future. So make a good example
that learning is fun, even for grown ups.

NO CHILD LEFT
BEHIND
On January 8, 2002, President George W. Bush signed into
law the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). This new
law represents his education reform plan and contains the
most sweeping changes to the Elementary and Secondary
Education Act since it was enacted in 1965. It changes
the federal role in education by asking America's schools
to describe their success in terms of what each student
accomplishes. The act contains the president's four basic
education reform principles.
Stronger
accountability for results
Local control
and flexibility
Expanded
options for parents
An emphasis on
effective and proven teaching methods
In sum, this law-in
partnership with parents, communities, school leadership
and classroom teachers-seeks to ensure that every child
in America receives a great education and that no child
is left behind.
